Audacity 101 - Basic Post Production Procedures Webinar

Audacity is the software of  choice for many podcasters who are just getting started.  Normally, I'd tell you that "you get way you pay for."  However, in the case of Audacity, I'll tell you that this free software is what allowed me to get my start into podcasting.  Audacity is available for free to both Mac and Windows users.

In this webinar, I will share the following....

• Where you to find and download Audacity on the web.

• What the LAME Encoder is, and why you'll need it if you want Audacity to convert your recordings into an mp3 file.

• Why I would suggest that you should not even bother installing the LAME Encoder and what I would suggest using instead.

• What Sample Rate you should use and why. (Example = 44.1Khz)

• What Compression Rates you should consider and why. (Example = 128kbps, 96kbps, 64kbps)

• Basic Editing Techniques that I do in post production and how.

• How to add music to the beginning and end of your podcast.

• How to tag your mp3 files with artwork after your finish your post production work.
